Welcome to our Baseball Club
​
The Preston Pirates Baseball Club is a Community Sporting Club which provides opportunities for players of All Ages, All Genders and All Abilities to participate in the sport of baseball and the Club Community of the Preston Pirates.
Our Vision is to be an innovative community baseball club of choice for players, volunteers and families in the northern areas of Melbourne by fostering, promoting, and growing baseball.

Our Purpose is to provide opportunities to participate in the sport of baseball for all ages, genders, and abilities.

Our New Baseball Home
​
Founded in 1910 the Preston Pirates is one of the oldest baseball clubs participating in the Victorian Summer Baseball League (VSBL) which runs for seven months annually from September to March.
From the start of the 2023/24 Summer Season in September 2023 the Preston Pirates are relocating to a new multi-purpose baseball diamond and club rooms as part of the world leading La Trobe University Sporting precinct.
These will be the newest baseball club facilities in Australia and will mark an exciting new chapter in the long history of the Preston Pirates. Located on Kingsbury Drive next to Charles La Trobe College the Preston Pirates will for the first time in many years be located in a high-profile location as it will be clearly identifiable from the high traffic flow of Kingsbury Drive.
From this new facility the club will provide training programs and club events and host multiple games weekly across a mix of weekend and midweek (under lights).

Our Baseball Programs
​
Our Baseball Programs are open to players starting at five years with our introductory T-Ball program.
Our Juniors Program is open to players from seven to eighteen years of age. Across these age groups players also have the opportunity to participate in in the Little League International Competition with State and National Championships including the opportunity to travel to the USA and participate in the Little League World Series as well as State and National representation and competition.
Juniors can also start playing in seniors’ games from the age of fourteen.

Across these programs all genders train and play together. Also available for players over the age of fourteen years is a Women’s only competition. Subject to players the Club may also participate in the Masters competition and is currently exploring the launch of Social Baseball.
Like all Community Sporting Clubs, the Preston Pirates would not be able to operate without the dedication of Volunteers who give of their time and experience across coaching, scoring, team managers, umpiring ground crew, canteen and Board.

Connecting with the local community and building relationships which are valuable for our Sponsors and Supporters are crucial to the financial viability of the Preston Pirates and our ability to provide baseball programs to our Club Community.
This document outlines the Sponsorship and Supporter Packages available to organizations and individuals who would like to support the Preston Pirates and most importantly what the Preston Pirates can provide to support and promote each organisation and individual who supports the Preston Pirates.
The Preston Pirates offers a wide range of options ranging from $250 - $11,000 per season.
