JUNIOR RISING STAR AWARD

THE JON DEEBLE JUNIOR RISING STAR AWARD

Named after one of the clubs most talented and loyal players in our history, Jon Deeble represented us at national and international level both as a player and coach for major league clubs. 

​

Jon has won 5 world series rings with Boston Red Socks, Florida Marlins LA Dodgers.

​

Jon has also held the roles of Manger for Team Australia and Head Coach of the Australian Baseball League Team the Melbourne Aces.

​

Jon won the Arthur Westcott "Best First Player and Club Champion Award' for the Club a record eight times between 1979 - 1986.

​

The Jon Deeble Junior Rising Star Award was first awarded to Nick Djorgonoski in the 2007/08 season.
