T-Ball 5 to 9 - Provide an ACTIVE START and Learn the FUNdamentals - Learn to Play

The Preston Pirates baseball club have a range of baseball programs, catering for all genders and ages from 5 to 50+. This is achieved by having specific programs for various age groups.

​

We aim to provide long term athletic and player development. We do this by providing an inclusive environment that nurtures, encourages and challenges our players to develop mentally and physically.

​

The T-ball program is all about teaching the FUNdamentals of Baseball. The delivery of these skills will take many forms with the emphasis being LOTS of opportunities LOTS of balls in PLAY and LOTS of FUN. A Key component of the program is to include Parents in the activities, introduce the players to the concept of TEAM being greater than the individual while supporting the personal growth and confidence of the individual.

T-Ball players are required to purchase a Club Cap and Club Undershirt.

​

Club shorts or grey baseball pants are optional.

​

Club shorts may be purchased from the Club Store and Grey Baseball pants may be purchased from a number of online or store suppliers.

​

Footwear to be runners/sneakers.

​

Equipment

​

Baseball equipment such as bats and gloves are available from the Club at each season for to T-Ball players is they do not have their own equipment. (It is recommended to purchase at least your own glove).

​

Fees 2021/2022 Season

​

Club Membership $60

Player Participation Fee $20 (Early Bird Paid by 31 October 2021)

Player Participation Fee $50 (Paid after 1 November 2021)

Baseball Victoria League Registration & Insurance Fee $40
